Gucci Ancora Londra
The fourth volume by Creative Director Sabato De Sarno intertwines stories of fashion, art, and people, told through the eyes of the English capital.
London and Gucci’s paths have crossed over and over, from The Savoy hotel where a young Guccio Gucci worked as a porter and became inspired by the people and cultures, to the setting of the House’s Cruise 2025 collection by Creative Director Sabato De Sarno at Tate Modern. In the fourth issue of Gucci Prospettive, this deep connection to London is further explored and enriched. Intertwining stories of the city’s people with its architecture, from the modernist lines of the Barbican to the classic elegance of Mayfair, the new volume presents the city as one of contrasts, where dualities and opposites thrive but come together, blending in harmony.
Curated by Charlene Prempeh and Lewis Dalton Gilbert, Gucci Prospettive 4: Ancora Londra was unveiled November 14 at the Gucci Boutique in New Bond Street. The volume features artists such as Rachel Whiteread, Cerith Wyn Evans, Bob and Roberta Smith, Corbin Shaw, Remi Ajani, Sonia Boyce, and Sunil Gupta – whose work is also on display at the boutique.
